About the Position

Main purpose of job and responsibilities

The applicant will contribute to the successful implementation of specific solutions for large accounts in collaboration with the R&D Executive and Key Accounts Industry Manager
He/she is ablt to convince key people internally and externally and implement proposed solutions at the customer thanks to his/her extensive know-how and hands-on expertise of the customers applications, the process and our products
Implementation of new soluition/products on various production lines of our industrial clients
Trouble-shooting at customers
To perform baking tests in the lab before the implementation on the industrial line in collaboration wiht the R&D team
Create a network/relationship wiht various equipment suppliers
Constantly looking for new business opportunities in the industrial market (solution to reduce costs of our clients, improve performance wiht Chipkins Puratos technologies)
Train colleagues, customers and salesman in Chipkins Puratos products and process knowledge
Experience

Expert in industrial processing (equipment, operating procedures & settings)
Expert in understanding the link: process/ingridients/end product/interaction Base)
Strong baking and plant experience
Experience in Plant Baking of bread, Rolls and Confectionery
Problem solving capabilities
Technical sales skills/communication skills
Understand functionality of ingridients/additives
Bilingual, good telephonic and communication skills
Computer literacy, including Excel, Qlikview, Word and Syspro experience would be an advantage
Qualifications:

Matric qualification
A degree in Food technology or similar bakery specific qualification
Valid driver's licence
Personal attributes
