Jewellery experience not required (but an advantage). Minimum 2 years’ admin experience required. The role calls for a hard worker and a quick learner. The person needs to be diligent with good attention to detail and not prone to errors. Must be PROFICIENT with Excel and Word. Strong typing skills essential. All candidates need to have a clear credit record and be willing to undergo a polygraph.

Your primary role will be functions related to administration and operations. This will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Assisting Senior Claims consultant with the entire claims process

Drawing up Valuations

Dealing with suppliers and following up invoices

Working with stock

Following up with suppliers

Working on company’s internal stock system (training provided)

Performing file reconciliations

Running errands as required

Photograph jewellery

Assisting in maintaining stock range

Invoicing

Maintaining a system which will allow you to continuously monitor outstanding tasks and ensure operations run smoothly and are completed within a reasonable time frame

Performance of other adhoc tasks as may be required from time to time for example occasional deliveries

Job Type: Contract

Salary: R7,000.00 to R9,000.00 /month

Experience:

Excel: 2 years (Required)
Administrative Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
