SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Capital Equipment & Service Contracts)
R12 500 BASIC + Company Car (R7000) + Pension + Medical Aid + Cell + commission & incentives
Office Based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town
This is a great opportunity with a well established company that supplies a range of top international brands of equipment, backup and maintence service contracts to a very broad range of industries in SA. They have built up a winning team who through commitment and dedication have earned them a reputation for quality, excellent backup and first class customer service delivery.
Take over some existing accounts, but focus on new business development and growing the client base. They require a hunter with at least 5 years sales experience, preferably of Capital Equipment (eg office automation, machinery, forklifts etc) with proven ability to secure new business, close deals and maintain your client base. Their target market includes opportunities in a broad range of industries and facilities while the products range from relatively small to extremely large pieces of equipment/ machinery. Some technical acumen would be beneficial to grasp product knowledge and the technical capabilities of equipment thus facilitating your ability to reliably provide clients with suitable solutions to meet their needs and match the application. Build up a pipeline and reap generous rewards!

Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously identify and secure new business accounts through cold calling.
Present suitable solutions to potential clients. Liaise, negotiate and close deals.
Use your technical knowledge/acumen. Experienced technical staff are there as backup.
Achievement of set targets.
Complete all relevant admin and reporting as required
Essential Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification. A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
At least 5 years Sales experience, preferably including some sales of capital equipment.
Proven ability and success in cold calling and new business development.
Customer service focused with ability to grow long term client relationships.
Technical aptitude beneficial.
Confident and effective communication skills.
Self-motivated and target driven.
Ability to liaise and close deals with clients at all levels.
Salary package: R12 500 PM Basic + 13th Cheque + Full Company Car (Value R7000pm)
Benefits: Medical Aid (company pays 50%)+ Pension Fund Contribution by Company
Commission + 1/4 Bonus
