Lixil Africa is offering a Production Technology learnership on a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months to 10 unemployed learners.
Learnership Details
The learners will receive a National Certificate in Production Technology at NQF Level 2 with SAQA ID 58785 after completion of the program.
This program will provide learners with the range of learning and skills required to be able to perform a series of activities to support the manufacturing, engineering and technology processes.
Qualified learners will:
Gain working experience and production related exposure within the factories.
Apply the fundamental concepts, theories and techniques of production systems.
Apply the fundamental concepts relating to production planning, scheduling and control.
Apply quality control and quality assurance practices for efficient and effective production processes.
Communicate effectively as a member of a team.

Requirements
Grade 12
Mathematics and Physical Science a MUST.
Technical qualification N2 - N3 (advantageous).
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
Willing and able to work within a brassware manufacturing environment.
Basic computer literacy would be an advantage.
