A well-established Company that is a manufacturer of high quality 4x4/SUV seat covers and supplier to many OEM vehicle manufacturers internationally is looking for a dedicated Production Manager to join their dynamic Team. From humble beginnings they now supply the products needed for their clients to protect their vehicles seats, dashboards, transmissions and more, their products are tailor made for vehicles.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Several years of experience in a similar role, such as production supervisor or manager, in a textile manufacturing or related industry. Experience in leading and managing teams, as well as experience in textile production, is also beneficial.
Education: Diploma or degree, or equivalent experience and training in a related field.
Specialized Skills: Knowledge of textile production processes and machinery, as well as experience with quality control and production planning, are important skills for this role. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
Other Requirements: Familiarity with textile industry standards, regulations and safety requirements are important. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality management techniques is also beneficial.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software related to production and inventory management.
Knowledge of the Syspro ERP software would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities
Managing the daily operations of the factory and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Coordinating with other departments, such as design and sales, to ensure that customer orders are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Supervising and training factory workers to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality products.
Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
Ensuring that the factory is in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Managing the inventory of raw materials, supplies and finished goods to ensure that there are no disruptions to production
Collaborating with other managers to develop and implement production schedules and goals.
Continuously monitoring the production process to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Ensuring the company quality standards are met – ISO9001.
Communicating with senior management to provide regular updates on production status, issues and progress.
