Our ICT client based in MOWBRAY CAPE TOWN is looking to employ a Managed Services Technician.
Outsourced IT Services.
? Provide clients with computer, server, network related technical support
? Administration of Active Directory
? Administration of Exchange servers
? Ability to set share/security permissions on file servers
? Proficient usage of Outlook 2007+
? Maintenance of workstations and servers
? Excellent troubleshooting skills
? Vendor management

? Backup/Reinstallation/Redeployment of workstations? Backup/Reinstallation/Redeployment of servers
? Implementation and maintenance of NAS appliances
? Receive tickets from 1st line team relating to allocated clients
? Prioritise tickets accordingly
? Schedule client visits and/or remote support in accordance with priorities
? Compile, review and deliver monthly SLA reports to SLA clients
? Provide insight into the clientβs environment to ensure preventative actions are communicated and agreed upon
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MCSA/MSCE (beneficial)
CCNA (beneficial)
Sophos (beneficial)
Mikrotik (beneficial)
Windows (XP and higher)
Windows servers (2003 and higher)
Exchange server (2007 and higher)
VMware and Hyper-V Virtualisation
WLAN Knowledge e.g. Ruckus and Unifi
Router Knowledge e.g. Mikrotik and Sophos
Dell hardware & support thereof
Mimecast filtering and archiving
Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
VPN (SSL, PPPT)
Writing technical documentation
Anti-virus packages
English and Afrikaans
Own vehicle, own valid drivers license
