Kennel Assistant-Cape of Good Hope SPCA

A vacancy has opened up in the Animal Care Centre for a Kennel Assistant. The purpose of the job is to clean kennels, feed animals and help Animal Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of animal care.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic dog and/or cat handling experience
Passion and commitment to animals and the ethos of the SPCA
Ability to perform under pressure and to multitask.
Minimum grade 10
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-starter - ability to work independently, take initiative and be accountable.
Proficiency in English.
No criminal record.

Driver’s license with driving experience an advantage
