Junior Storeman-The Twelve Apostles Hotel
KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Issue goods requested by users from stores on authorised stores issues/requisition forms, ensuring goods are signed for by the person collecting the goods. Capture details of issues to outlets into F&B cost control program and file signed documentation.
Prepare orders to maintain stocks at par levels and in accordance with operating requirements, always ensuring approval from Food and Beverage Manager prior to placing order.
Attend weekly function meetings to ascertain extraordinary order requirements for the week.
Receive deliveries into stock checking vintage, quantities, values, weights, quality and expiry dates and signing for them in accordance with the hotel procurement policy
Capture delivery note/invoice data into stock control system, attach to the original approved order and pass on to the Accounts department for payment on a daily basis.
Collect inter-outlet transfer sheets daily from all departments. Capture details into the cost control program on a daily basis and file.
Ensure that goods are packed in stores in accordance with stock-sheets and with due regard to preservation of stock and hygiene regulations / standards.
Conduct bi-monthly stock take of cellar stock together with Cost controller.
Control cellar stock through stock control procedure and explain variances at month end.
Prevent unauthorised entry into stores and monitor key sign-out procedure.
Report all after-hours entries into stores daily to the Food and Beverage Manager on duty as well as the Cost Controller.
