It Service Desk Agent
We are an international software company looking for an IT service desk agent to join our second line support desk.
The ideal candidate must be well spoken and comfortable dealing with people telephonically and face to face. Strong technical ability to troubleshoot complex issues and report them in a clear and detailed manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver a professional and consistent level of service that provides resolutions within Service Level Agreement deadlines
Work in accordance with the Service Desk and incident management policies, process, procedures, and work instructions
Log, prioritize and assign support calls, escalate when appropriate and communicate progress to all relevant parties
Appropriately probe and diagnose customer issues
Update and communicate accurate and comprehensive information to support 1st line support and 3rd line engineers
Document information using company system and structure information so that it is easily understandable
Process documents and follow-up on correspondence ensuring everything is dealt with accurately and efficiently
Work collaboratively with other Support Engineers and Business Unit Engineers
Perform account administration tasks and system checks
Follow procedures for known fixes and workarounds
Ability to take necessary preventative action and anticipate problems before they occur
Must have
Attention to detail
2-3+ Years IT experience
Matric certificate
A+ Certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R9,000.00 to R12,000.00 /month
