Requirement Overview
Paarl Labels, based in Paarl is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Ink Technician with relevant work experience to join the Paarl Labels team.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Mixing inks using the Ink Management System

• Conduct appropriate tests to ensure that the colour blends are correct
• Supply the production departments with the correct ink as per required specifications
• Keep library of ink mixtures
• Ensure that sufficient stock is available
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment


Educational Requirements
• A Grade 12/Matric certificate with mathematics


Experience Requirements
• Previous ink mixing experience advantageous
• Good understanding of flexo printing processes


Skills & Competencies
• Have excellent colour perception
• Ability to understand written manuals
• Detail and quality orientated
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Ability to work independently
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure
