Handyperson-The Twelve Apostles Hotel

We are recruiting for a passionate Handyperson to support the Maintenance Team in the general maintenance of the Hotel.

Key responsibilities of the Handyperson will include:
Support the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department
Ensure guest areas and guest rooms are maintained to 5* standard
Promptly assist with guest requests
Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns in the hotel as requested by the management team
Attend to the day-to-day maintenance of all refrigeration and air-conditioning as requested by the management team
Ensure that the workshop, all maintenance storage areas and your immediate work area is kept clean and tidy at all times in accordance with SOP
The ideal candidate for the Handyperson position should:
Grade 12
2 year’s experience in a general maintenance position
Have previous experience working in a similar position in a 4/5* hotel
Proven understanding of Health and Safety standards

Be presentable and well-mannered
Good command of the English language
Be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
