Fixed-Term Pay Point Assistant – Seapoint

We are looking for a Pay Point Assistants to assist us for an approximate 4 month period, maternity cover at our Seapoint Store in Cape Town.

The successful incumbent should have an interest in the wellness industry, good communication skills and deliver excellent customer service. You should be responsible, trustworthy and accountable and always display sound judgment.

Main Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Greeting and acknowledging the customer in a professional manager
Directing customer queries to the correct section or person on the sales floor
Processing of customer transactions, refunds and exchanges
Maintaining accuracy and preventing shrinkage through checking prices and codes scanned correctly match one another
Housekeeping of the pay-point environment ensuring everything is clean, presentable and in working order and that there is sufficient stationery and shopping bags
Collecting and dropping off the float after accurately balancing the float at the end of each shift
Various other duties as and when reasonably required
Minimum Requirements:

Matric
1-2 years retail experience in a similar role
Computer literate
