E-Commerce Co-ordinator

Our Client. is an irresistibly exciting bakery in the heart of Cape Town. With three busy stores and an always-open online shop, They are setting the pace as an innovative e-cake retailer. To keep up with the demands of a busy website, they're currently looking for an experienced E-Commerce Co-ordinator to join their Head Office Team.
This role will see you manage and implement a calendar of online promotions. These promotions happen across all of the companies platforms - from online to social to stores - so everything needs to be in sync and on time. You'll also co-ordinate and match the imagery and messaging to make the most out of each promotion. It's essential to be on top of the performance and speed of the website, as well as loading SKU codes, new products, and the daily running of the website.

You will also:

Put together complex product spreadsheets in a detailed, accurate manner.
Write informative, persuasive, and SEO-friendly product descriptions, in collaboration with the Copywriter.
Optimise and merchandise products and categories.
Analyse performance using Google Analytics to show which categories and products are underperforming.
Strategise and turn around underperforming categories.
Weekly and monthly reporting on product and category performance.
We’re looking for someone who loves data and spreadsheets, with an entrepreneurial mindset and lots of ambition. You need to actively manage your own workload and be able to prioritse.

We also require:

E-commerce or digital experience.
Great Microsoft Excel skills.
Product data accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and writing skills.
A customer-service mindset.
Problem solving know-how, a creative mind, and a drive to get stuff done
Ideally knowledge of and previous experience in: Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Woo Commerce.
