Our Client in the Rustenburg area is looking for a Contracts Administrator Assistant
We are looking for a keen, energetic, self-motivated, TEAM player with a sound knowledge of contracts and procurement administration
The Contracts Administrator Assistant to support the Contracts Manager by ensuring the least cost inventory profile across the group through tender, contract and general administration. Additionally the position will be responsible for tendering processes and administration of contracts in accordance with policies, procedures and specified contract requirements.
To co-ordinate and manage all costing activities across the allocated Business Units and provide a value added Supply Chain service to those Business Units.
Skills Required:
Excellent communications and people skills
Good decision making, follow up, problem solving, time management and price negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
Grade 12
5 years' experience in the Procurement field & any tertiary qualification will be to your advantage
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of audit files for each contract, which will include all items as per the approved contract file index.
Internal and External Correspondence
System maintenance
Must be willing to perform data-entry tasks for the majority of the time
Ability to work under pressure, producing high volume of accurate work, troubleshoot and problem solving effectively
Once contracts are awarded, the contract administrator assistant will complete a closeout process.
