Queen Victoria Hotel, a 5* hotel in the Waterfront precinct is seeking to fill the position of Concierge. The successful candidate will have the following attributes.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

All employees may be required require duties and other reasonable tasks as part of the successful day-to-day operation of Queen Victoria Hotel and Manor House. Team work and communication are vital. By continuously working hard at establishing and nurturing relationships to provide a level of service excellence that will exceed guests’ expectations. The highest level of courtesy is expected - be friendly, interactive, efficient and organised as well as well presented, tidy and professional.

DUTIES: -

Ensure smooth flow of information through through-out the property and ensure guests are happy and cared for.
Be visual face of the business and interact with guests and employees
Assist guests with travel arrangement arrangements, tour bookings, and dinner reservations
Maintain detailed records of tours, and transfers booked
Charge all tours to guests’ accounts where applicable
Be present at reception to assist with arrivals and departures, but also to be at the centre of information

Evaluate and provide feedback on any guest complaints
Check and respond to all emails
Complete any required reporting such as the daily operational update and revenue report for all transfers and tours booked.
Provide feedback to any TripAdvisor reviews
Compile and update guest profiles prior and during their stay
Personalise and customise guest interation and experiences
Offer personalized solutions to all guest requests especially return and VIP guests
Match the enthusiasm and energy of every guest
Receive, store and deliver luggage, and mail
Run any errands for guests as requested
Attend weekly HOD meetings and follow up on tasks and deadlines set
Complete any weekly and monthly duties and reporting as required

Excellent communicator
Excellent command of English – both written & verbal
Customer service
Able to plan, prioritise & work well under pressure
Act in good faith & in the best interest of the Company at all times
Good team player
Ability to work shifts, week-ends & public holidays
Decision making, Negotiation and problem-solving skills with both internal and external customers
Excellent grooming and presentation
Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

Hotel Concierge: 2 years (Preferred)
