The successful candidate will contribute to making the Executive Team successful in a high performance and driven environment through successfully managing the business strategy to channel fruit into export and local markets.
Develop a marketing programme, based on estimates provided
Provide diverse exposure to growers within each payment pool to a range of outlets
Manage the pricing strategy, and communication of pricing with all customers
Communication with growers
Pricing benchmarking
Ensure that the software platform grows with the business and supports an efficient flow of information between packhouses, ports, and the market
Qualifications / Experience
BSc Agric or BCom International Trade
MBA Advantageous

Knowledge
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manager within the Fruit Export Environment
Excellent knowledge of Excel, i.e. able to do Pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.
Knowledge of the fresh fruit production/marketing industry
Knowledge of the Middle and Far Eastern markets customer base would be advantageous
Fruit software platforms such as Palbroker / QX working within an ERP system
Skills
Be in possession of a valid driverβs license
Creative and innovative thinking abilities
Good problem solving skills
Be accurate and methodical, attention to detail
Managing and motivating staff to be successful
Very strong communication skills
