Business Manager: E-Commerce

One of our Clients, specializing in Retail, currently has a vacancy available for a Business Manager: E-Commerce at their Head Office in Parow Industrial.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for generating sales via online and alternative retail channels. The candidate is responsible for understanding customer requirements and planning the implementation of appropriate commerce solutions with embedded systems management, merchants, payment gateways, and third parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement e-commerce strategy in order to improve sales & website performance;
Ensure appropriate design, programming, debugging and testing of the organization's online-based activities;
Participation in the development of online marketing campaigns;
Analysis of the e-commerce related performance;
Monitoring and evaluation of users' behaviour to derive suggestions for improvements;
Manage all online activity in relation to acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting;

Work with the marketing team and manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition;
Analyse various data to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve KPI’s;
Research market to discover new trends and technologies to improve online sales performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Tertiary qualification in e-Commerce, Computer Science or related field;
Practical experience in a similar position is a requirement;
Magento knowledge would be advantageous;
Well-developed understanding of data analysis as well as website metrics;
Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies;
Good data interpretation and web analysis;
Experience in managing marketing and tech teams;
