A beautiful Safari lodge located in South Africa on the edge of Kruger National Park in Sabi Sands is looking for a Airstrip Administrator
The Airstrip Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all administration concerning guest arrivals, departures and activities. This will include meeting guests at the airstrip on arrival, compiling the daily Day sheet, coordinating arrival & departure flights, taking, payment for guest bills on departure and communicating special requests to the Lodge team.
The, Airstrip Admin should assist the Lodge Managers in achieving high standards of service pertaining, to administration and ensuring guest satisfaction is of the highest priority.Â

Qualifications / Experience
Preferably 3 years’ experience in 5 Star Establishments in front office
Hotel or Tourism School (or similar qualifications) would be beneficial
Sound Computer knowledge ie. Microsoft Office and Protel
English speaking, fluent in written English

Here’s what you’d do
Compile the daily Daysheet, in conjunction with confirming flight schedules and ensuring
that it is correct
Meet and greet all guests on arrival with champagne and indemnity form for signing
Liaise with Reservations on a weekly basis to iron out any queries before the guests arrive
Capture guest information data accurately and timeously on Protel
Complete daily registers and ensure they are correct
Compile Month End Reports and forward to the Accounts Department on time
Carry out all check outs, ensuring that guest bills are correct and that payment is taken
and recorded correctly
Be present at all times when guests are present
Ensure the welcome area at the airstrip is clean and presentable for arrival guests
Liaise between lodges about guest information and movements
Assist the Lodge Managers with any administrative duties they may require
Host dinner in the evenings at the Lodges as per the two weekly roster
Assist in lodge operations if and when required
Play your part in ensuring guests get the experience at its best
Maintain a high level of hygiene in line with statutory requirements

Permanent Employment
Basic Monthly Salary of R8 000.00
Live-in basic furnished accommodation (possible sharing)
R1 696.00 food allowance over and above salary
Gratuities left by guests
1% Company Revenue Gratuity
50% Company Contribution on Medical Aid
50% Company Contribution on Pension Fund
20 Bed nights for family and friends annually at R500 p/p/p/night
