Purpose of the Role
To provide and apply specialised dispute knowledge to support our card holders within rules as specified by the card associations with the aim to protect their interests as well as minimising losses for the Bank. To provide excellent client services to the cardholder network by keeping the client informed during the dispute process as part of the back office function of Business Support (BSC).
Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
Certificate or diploma in a financial or administrative related field
Experience Ideal: 2 years Issuing and /or Acquiring experience in a banking environment,1 years fraud agent/administrator/investigator experience
Background in Bankserv, Visa and/or MasterCard dispute processing is desired
Preferred experience in a Financial institutionβs Risk Management or related field
Knowledge and skills It will be a distinct advantage should the applicant have working experience in a Card Chargeback/dispute environment.
Working knowledge of Postilion would be an added advantage
Computer literate, with a sound knowledge of Word and Excel
Numerical and language fluency
