Purpose of the Role
Sourcing and screening potential talent to secure a good talent pool and high success rate within the final selection of candidates.

Source Talent:
Develop and apply innovative/effective sourcing techniques to generate a pool of suitable candidates based on a business requirement for a specific job/profile
Create and maintain a database of potential candidates

Screen Talent:

Proactively and continuously screen volume applications
Acquire relevant candidate information and clarify key areas of expertise
Select applicants who meet the agreed job specifications to establish a talent pipeline to draw from when positions become available

Qualifications
Grade 12

Knowledge of:
General HR processes and procedures
Relevant legislation (i.e. LRA, Employment Equity Act)
Effective and efficient telephonic interviewing/screening
Competency based recruitment
Sourcing approaches and methods

Ideal:

Relevant 3 year degree in Psychology/Industrial Psychology/HR
Relevant post-graduate degree in Psychology/Industrial Psychology/HR
Registered Psychometrist (HPCSA)

Experience
Telephonic interviewing techniques
Response handling and feedback
Sourcing techniques and methods
Preferably 1 years’ end-to-end recruitment experience

Knowledge and skills
Relevant training in:
Effective and efficient telephonic interviewing techniques
Understanding of labour market and IR
Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Client service orientation
Interpersonal and relationship management skills
Attention to detail (accuracy)
Planning and organisational skills
Team orientation
Adaptable and flexible
Emotional resilience
Resourcefulness

Additional Requirements
Ability to work in an open plan environment
Willing and able to work extra hours, outside normal business hours as and when required
Clear credit record
Clear criminal record
