Your key job responsibilities as the Social Media Manager in Durban will include:

Work with the product team to create clickable content
Cross-post on social media channels
Manage a team of social media trainees & interns
Manage content marketing calendar
Conversation marketing
Hashtag searches
Build relationships with sponsors & brands
Grow user bases across all social media channels
Manage social media contests
Optimize social media conversations for maximum reach

Requirements for this Social Media Manager job in Durban:

Must be passionate about film
2+ years’ experience working in the social media arena
2+ years working in a metrics/data-based environment within social media
Proven track record driving sales through social media marketing
Advertising copywriting skills
Understanding of online publications
Working knowledge of all social media platforms
Encyclopaedic knowledge of how social media works
Extensive knowledge of current film & TV trends
Ability to write grammatically with the purpose of entertaining the audience
Ability to use video to boost posts’ value
Ability to activate influencer marketing methods to drive traffic to social media channels
