Our reputable client in Midrand is currently looking to place for a Senior Manager: Corporate Communications and Marketing on a permanent basis to develop, manage and provide an effective Communication and Information service to the Minister, Parliament, the company Board, DCA, EXCO, internal and external clients of the company. To manage the media To manage content development and quality control all communications with external and internal stakeholders To focus on developing the company brand and marketing the organisation to be world's top Aviation Authority and general community.
Key Outputs:
Communications Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective communication strategy. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the communication services through research/surveys.
Media Management
Manage all media relations including publicity for the company. Ensure that the company image is protected against negative coverage.
Corporate Social Investment and Responsibility
Develop a CSI/R strategy and plan and monitor the evaluation of the same Measure the impact of all CSI campaigns annually
Manage the development, management and editing of internal and external publications including the annual report.
Content Management
Conduct research and Develop content for all corporate publications, DCA speeches, Board, Minister and DM speeches, annual reports, etc. Establish an editing service to manage the quality of the company content
Communications Tools
Ensure the effective management of the company website and Intranet Manage company Social Media presence e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube
Company Corporate Branding and Marketing Strategy
Develop, implement and maintain company brand and marketing strategy.
Manage company corporate and internal events. To develop, manage and maintain the companyCorporate Identity and image.
Management of Department and Subordinates
Oversee the entire staff compliment in the Communication's department and manage their performance. Manage the staff training and development. Implement the HRD Strategy.
Financial
Develop and maintain effective budget versus expenditure controls for the communication and marketing department.
Minimum Requirments:
NQF Level 8 Qualification / Bachelor's Degree / Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in Public Relations or Communication or Marketing
Driver's License
Ideal:
Post graduate qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma / Bachelor Honours Degree in Public Relations or Communication or Marketing / Leadership development qualification
