The incumbent will be responsible to protect and safeguard the facilities, personnel, information and assets of the South African Bank Note Company (SABN) .


Detailed Description






· Conduct a tactical security threat assessment in an area of operation to support the protection function.

· Conduct access and egress control in an area of operation.
· Control all security systems and signals in an area of responsibility.
· Ensure the safeguarding of the area of operation.
· Identify and respond to emergency situations and implement contingency plans.
· Maintain compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
· Comply with SABN prescribed inherent job requirements including Competency to Work Program (CTW).
· Comply with SABN policies and legislative requirements in order to adequately mitigate risk and achieve the SABN’s objectives.


Job Requirements






· Grade 12
· Fire Arm Competency Certificate (Essential)
· Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority
· (PSIRA) Grade C (Desirable)
· 11 Week Basic Tactical Security Training (Desirable)
· National Key Point Registration (Desirable)
· 1 Year National Key Point Security Experience (Desirable)
