Salesman

Job Title: Salesman Background: Power Tool repairs and sales store is looking for an honest and reliable candidate to fulfil a sales function in the business. The business has a retail side, as well as a repair side. Your duties will be to manage that repairs, parts and orders get allocated correctly as well as be knowledgeable enough to match our products and services to customer’s needs.

Working Hours: Weekdays 8-5 Saturday & Public Holidays – Closed (occasionally required to assist on weekends with Stock Take)

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting customers with queries and sales.
2. Managing the repair process
3. Allocating stock to customer repairs
4. Assist in the workshop with processes and procedures
5. Assist in the retail space with sales.
6. Receiving of stock and accessories.
7. Quoting customers 8. Merchandising of stock when required
9. Any other reasonable task that is required.

Requirements:
1. Proven honest and reliable track record
2. No previous dishonesty or misappropriation misconduct
3. Lives reasonably close to Claremont, Cape Town
4. Great examples of customer service & Customer relationships.
5. 5 years’ experience in the power tools and accessories markets
6. Computer literate 7. Contactable references
8. Tertiary qualifications are beneficial.
9. Driver’s license with no endorsements & Own reliable transport to the Claremont Area.
10. Brand Knowledge of Bosch, Makita, Metabo, Festool & Rupes.
11. Knowledgeable in the practical application of accessories like saw blades, router bits, drill bits, sanding papers etc. Remuneration: Negotiable on experience.
