Our company is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals within our existing retailers and seeing professionals in our industry, both existing and new. We are looking for a results-driven person to actively seek out and engage customer prospects in the Western Cape area.
You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics and superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is a requirement.
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs and company goals
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members, marketing programs and other departments
Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of new products and trends in our industry
Continuously improve through feedback
Prepare weekly & monthly reports
Maintaining client records
Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
Proven work experience as a sales representative/sales position
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
Able to do cold calling in the professional field and understand the dynamics to achieve results/develop a relationship
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

Relevant experience is required with a proven track record of working in Sales. Ability to communicate, perform under pressure, good time management skills, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
