This role will report into the operational Sales Manager for Inland. This incumbent will be responsible for increasing a regional footprint by developing customer base and maintaining collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through providing an all-round solution, while ensuring maximum return on investment on trade assets and constantly reviewing operations in order to achieve common goals and long term sustainable profitability
Key Responsibilities:
Sales, rental and promotion of trade assets and associated consumable products
Management of Sales territory and achievement of all sales targets monthly and cumulatively
Ensuring plans are devised and implemented to recover lost business
Identification and Analysis of Customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure all customer outstanding account payment are updated.
Reporting on all market place intelligence and trends, including actions of any competitors, and possible counter measures to these actions
Address customer concerns and ensure timeous resolution
Communicating stock requirements for special orders, promotions and price increases
Arranging and attending Trade Shows and Promotions
Ensuring distributor and customer stock rotation at each visit to eliminate expiring and short dated stock
Advising Customers of special deals and stock shortages and advising of substitute products
Perform monthly audits of trade assets to ensure minimum cuppage is achieved, operational and hygiene standards of trade assets are maintained
Key Requirements
B.Com/Diploma , Sales/Marketing or equivalent will be advantageous
Minimum 5-10 yearsβ sales experience
FMCG Food & Beverage sales experience
Code 08 driverβs license
Ideal candidate should have experience in both Key Account Management & Field Sales Management
Problem solving, team building.
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Confidence dealing with multiple data sources
Previous face to face customer exposure
Strong commercial experience within a trade, brand or category role
Confident communication and presentation skills
Financial awareness of Return on Investment
Willingness to travel
PC Literacy (MS Office, SAP, Outlook)
Good communication skills
Strong cold calling and negotiating skills
Result and deadline orientated
