We currently have a vacancy for a Sales Consultant (Stationery & Office Furniture) to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and through the use of traditional and innovative strategies to generate interest from potential clients.

The incumbent must be able to plan and execute persuasive marketing approaches which will convince potential clients to do business with you.

The sales Consultant will develop a relationship with new clients, set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the client relationship.

Strategic planning is key to the position and the successful incumbent will be required to develop the pipeline of the business in the Western Cape.

The role has the following requirements and skill sets:

Cold calling and Prospecting skills
Persuasive and has Closing skills

Sales planning & Presentation skills
Identification of customer needs & challenges and marketing strategy around them
Computer literacy –skill competence in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & especially a sound understanding of navigating & establishing Excel spreadsheets
General administration skills, to execute monthly line reports
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in team and also independently
Self-starter & self-motivator, with ability to work independently & take responsibility for required outputs
Sound interpersonal and marketing skills
Bilingual - Afrikaans and English –read write and business communication.
National grade 12 certificate (Matric)
Valid driver’s license
Own transport
Candidates with the required industry knowledge will get preference

Package

R12 000.00 - R15 000.00 Per Month basic, negotiable and commensurate with experience
