Responsibilities:
Core Requirements:

Payroll processing for Main and Services Rendered payroll.
Handle payroll queries
Reconcile and prepare pay overs of all main payroll employee benefit and tax deductions
Reconcile monthly deductions of employee benefits and tax deductions
Employee benefits administration
Reconciliation of Payroll General Ledger and payroll Interface accounts
Main Payroll variance reconciliation
Restructuring of new and existing employee cost to company packages
1 to 2-year appropriate HR, payroll or related qualification

Experience in Payroll, Accounts and Employee Benefit Administration
At least 3 to 5 years in a payroll department of a medium size organization (at least +/- 500 employees)
Communication skills
Computer literacy – Excel spreadsheets and accounting packages
Accuracy and attention to detail
Workable knowledge of income tax rules, UIF, good accounting principles
Strong financial accounting skills

Added Advantage

Drivers License
Working in a science council or similar environment
3 year HR qualification
HR generalist experience
A salary in the region of R261 798 per annum, cost-to-company will be negotiated in consideration of experience and qualifications.
