The Junior IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing first level technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. He/she responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Respond to queries or questions logged to ticketing system
Install, maintain and support basic end-user systems and equipment
Maintenance
Check printer statuses and supervise vendor site visits

Organise and test meeting room infrastructureLog tickets for shared office infrastructure issues
Be the point of contact for approved vendor installations or maintenance
Schedule regular vendor site visits
IT equipment asset management
Assign assets to users as per equipment guideline
Record asset assignment in ticketing system
Monitor equipment stock and notify team lead when a new order is required
Ticket Administration
Respond to tickets within agreed SLA
Provide detailed feedback and updates in the ticket and to the user
Close tickets once issue has been resolved
Personal
Learning new systems or technology
Personal development and performance discussions
Education and Experience:
6 Months experience in an IT support environment
A+, N+ (not required if incumbent has relevant experience)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer oriented and service-focused
