About the Position

Our client, a growing manufacturer and installation specialist of packaging machines, for citrus and fruit industries, seeks to employ a Junior Trade Tested Electrician.

The purpose of the position is to maximize clients satisfaction and the company's image and to improve products by means of quick and adequate response to technical problems. Customer service should be delivered through preventive conservation to perform properly.

>>> 95% Field Work; 5% Office Based

>>> Willingness and ability to travel around Port Elizabeth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect, test and Commission of computers, software and other products .
Install, configure and upgrade of systems/software updates.
Provide technical advice to clients for preventative maintenance purposes.
Quick and adequate response to problems and queries so telephonic support to client.
Examine and resolve of faulty messages.
Provide feedback to the relevant internal Department.
Corrective and preventive measures (sales, dispatch, composition, manufacture and/or purchase).
Ensure accurate, comprehensive and immediate recording of activities on the home map that is performed at the client: registration of km powered, hours worked and parts used.
Identify, obtain approval and register additional work while maintenance and/or installation tasks are performed.
Experience:


Fully bilingual - English & Afrikaans.
Prepared to travel - this will be 95% of the workload.
Use own initiative and work unsupervised.
Honest, responsible and reliable.
Qualifications:


Electrician Trade Test
N3 Electrical Engineering certificate or Matric
Valid drivers license - non-negotiable
Own reliable transport - non-negotiable
Valid passport - highly advantageous
