The SAFT Group is a well-established player in cold storage solutions for fruit and other perishables, with several facilities throughout the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Based at SAFT Atlantic, located at our new cold store facility in the Durbanville area, we have the following vacancy available:

HR OFFICER

Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Payroll administration
Employee & industrial relations
Skills Development: Implementation of workplace skills plan , annual reporting to TETA, and other relevant administration
Recruitment in line with company strategy and on-boarding
Assist with policy development
Administration & reporting of Employment Equity
Occupational Health & Safety
Injuries On Duty administration and reporting on Umehluko.

Requirements:

Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
In-depth ER knowledge & experience
Valid driver license & own transport
Will be required to travel between company sites
Skills & Competencies:

Above average interpersonal communication at all levels
Must be able to work independently and under pressure
Conflict management and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, OHSA)
Computer Literate (MS Office, Sage People, Jarrison Time).
