Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives money and ensures that signatures and checks for all monies are correct when handing over
Adds up receipts making sure money balances with total
Allocates various payments to codes as per printed sheet to be attached in receipt book giving a breakdown of payments
Float is added and checked and receipt monies balanced at the end of the day β book to be countersigned by another staff member
Daily Bank Reconciliation form to be completed and balanced
Do cash up and deposits
Liaise with bank for any statements or queries
Helps with other general office duties when staff are on leave or off sick
Help out in Reception when short staffed
Responsible for Private Patientβs accounts
General administration function
Education:
Computer Literate
Experience and Attributes:
Previous reception experience would be advantageous
Must have good people and telephonic skills
