Minimum Requirements

Basic Education – Matric not required but would be advantageous
Language: Basic English and Afrikaans (spoken and preferably written would be advantageous)
Proven working experience as a cleaner
Basic knowledge of health and safety
Work over weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
Work overtime according to a work schedule
Key competencies and skills

Attention to detail
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repeatedly during working hours
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Ability to complete checklists
Job Specification

Clean designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping)
Clean commercial buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
Carry out cleansing tasks and special projects
Cooperate with management and tackle heavy cleaning jobs on request
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Clean and ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
Working Hours:

Work hours: 7am to 16:00 – Monday to Fridays ( Hours can change depending on site needs)
Work Schedule for weekends
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R3,745.00 /month

Experience:
