Responsibilities
Assisting management with travel itinerary including factors like car hire and accommodation
Provide admin support to management, this includes and is not limited to researching relevant information and updating the company files to reflect the said research
Maintain organized records of projects and opportunities that may require further attention or resources throughout the business cycle
Arranging and partaking in meetings, preparing minutes and agendas for those meetings
Follow the order process right from customer PO through to delivery
Updating load schedules
Liaising with Freight Providers, customers and suppliers at national and international level
Ensuring all suppliers, customers and service providers receive timeous updates and responses to queries requests and communications
Preparing and checking offers
Bench-marking supplier offers
Confirming and checking rates of duties
Sourcing the correct images for offers
Consistently following up on all ongoing projects/tasks
Forwarding all relevant documents and correspondence to the accounts department
Other ad hoc duties
Education & Skills
Matriculated a must
Studying/Completed tertiary education preferred
Microsoft Office
Proficient in Excel
Strong written and verbal skills
Strength in Mathematics
Proactive, able to work on own initiative
Must reside within 15km of Fairmount
