Truworths, one of South Africa’s leading fashion retailers, is offering an amazing opportunity for a skilled Digital Designer within the Marketing team.


Key Responsibilities
Strong digital portfolio showcasing responsive UX & UI design for functional
web and mobile applications.
Have a strong understanding of user-centred design .
Remaining up to date with tech & design tools and trends across web and mobile.
Working closely with the team’s developers and taking instruction where necessary.
Designing new websites and landing pages and maintaining existing ones.
Create mock-ups that can be turned into clean and logical CSS and HTML pages
Creating digital banners and other campaign materials when required.
Designing digital and print marketing materials and collateral.
Advantage to have experience in Sketch.

Excellent understanding of branding
Have a keen eye for typography and attention to detail
Creative, have flair, think outside of the box and embrace both initiative and learning
Responsible for strategy, conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies.
Ability to manage and/or mentor Junior Designer/s





Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience
Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop
Indesign
Illustrator
Acrobat
Sketch

A passion for trends across the fashion and design industry.
A can-do attitude; the ability to rise to any challenge.
Take creative direction constructively and carry out design work to brief.
The ability to multitask; to cope with the competing requirements of a number of different projects, operating at different timescales under pressure.
Manage deliverables to efficiently deliver the best results as a team
