Client Service Director (CSD) - Advertising Agency
Our client, an advertising agency in Pinetown, are looking for a Client Service Director to join their team.
· Develop lasting relationships with key senior clients and brand owners, positioning the agency as the strategic partner and thought leader for their business
· Lead retainer and fee negotiations with clients
· Be an inspirational leader that builds an agency team which consistently performs at a high standard
· Foster integration across agency disciplines and operating units, to ensure cohesive campaign delivery
· To ensure that brand strategies are being implemented effectively at implementation phase
· Build a strong client service team, and nurture every team member’s potential
· Create a culture that will bring the right people to the agency, inspiring a feeling that anything is possible when you come in to work
· Problem solve and pursue innovative solutions and ideas for clients
· To help and identify and convert new business opportunities
Manage and grow the agency’s client portfolio, creating year-on-year growth in brands and revenue (and profit) – and ensure that turnover and GP targets are met (in collaboration with other Directors)
· To lead and manage the client servicing team: regular fortnightly reporting, resource planning (to assign appropriate team members to projects, to resolve issues), appraisals and personal development of the client servicing team (setting and reviewing targets, contributing to remuneration conversations), recruitment of new team members
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and adjust strategies where necessary to deliver optimal results,
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights,
Evaluate emerging trends. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate,
· To effectively and efficiently manage the requirements of all client accounts within your portfolio through your team,
· To ensure that all client work is processed and delivered to the highest possible standards,
· To ensure that client requests, enquiries etc. are responded to timeously,
· To lead the process to write and execute client development plans and proposals for Key Client Relationships (to deliver
revenue targets by client)
· To develop best practice in client servicing and to run regular sessions with the client servicing team to share knowledge
and experience
· To personally lead one or two Key Client Relationships
· To seek and develop client development opportunities
· To contribute to the process to win new business
· Proactive contribute/spearhead improvement to internal processes
Submit reports to the Directors to allow them to understand the divisions performance
8 + years of relevant work experience.
4 + years of Account Director experience.
As Client Services Director, you will be expected to demonstrate a range of skills and experience. Ultimately you will be responsible for the guidance and development of your team so it is essential you are a great communicator, able to inspire your team and spot potential.
Your strategic ability and insight of your clients must be second to none. At the end of the day your client is your business and you must know everything about them inside and out to enable you to solve the issue at hand and increase your client’s revenue
Salary up to R40 000 pm, plus annual profit share
